I found a stall selling mouth fresheners called mukhwas (IPA: [mʊkʰʋaːs]) at a market in Chandigarh, India. In North India, there are many kinds of mukhwas with sweet and refreshing flavours, which also help digestion, because of the spicy local cuisines (particularly the restaurant cuisines).
One of my Hibiscus vitifolius plants has flowered. This is a plant grown from the seeds I collected in Karnataka, India in 2013, and there was no sign of germination for about a year after sowing them in Chandigarh, India. It seems that the flowers only last for a couple of hours. They open in the late morning and close by the noon.
